Hello and welcome back!
I know you all know about all of the falsies, lash extensions, etc...
I've always been nervous about getting lash extensions, what they could do to my real lashes or if they messed with my eyes. I have sensitive eyes and on top of it, allergies. So, I have to be careful with what I use when it comes to the glue. Super fun.
I recently came across FlutterHabit lashes.
Temp lash extensions that are said to last 3-5 days and easy to apply? Sign me up.
I had to try, I am SO happy I did.
If you would like to read the FlutterHabit story: About
They come in 2 boxes with 3 sets in each of the boxes. Retails for $29.99.
You have the option to do a subscription which is $25, you receive 2 boxes of lashes every 30 days.
There is 2 glue options: Regular and latex free. Both retail for $4.99.
They are faux mink and cruelty free.
I chose the Original to start with but recently purchased The Wink. I should see those in about a week. I will add a picture of those once I receive and apply.
MY APPLICATION PROCESS TIPS:
*First thing...Make sure your patience is fresh, its plentiful and nothing has tested it for the day or you might be screaming at a lash segment for not sticking the first try....(please don't ask how I know this...)
*Good lighting and a good mirror. I sit in front of my bedroom window so I get the natural light and works well for me.
*Use tools you are comfortable with or your fingers, I like using curved pointed tweezers.
*Expect your first box of the 3 strips to be your practice set, especially if you're new to these as you are applying then to the underside of your lashes. I got the application, glue, placement down by the 3rd set.
*When it comes to the glue on the band, if it kind of looks like a bubble across the strip, you should have enough. I didn't do this the first time, just applied a quick brush of it across the band which was too little and lashes started coming off the next day.
*Have fun with customizing them to your eyes. I trim some of the inner corner segments and they fit my eyes perfect. I absolutely love the look of these.
This is my 3rd set in the pictures, they have lasted 4 days so far and still looking good. I have already opted for a subscription as I don't see myself getting tired of these anytime soon. Also because....
I LOVE not having to worry about applying 5 coats of 3 different kinds of mascara. I know you mascara/lash lovers will understand!
What types of lashes do you prefer?
