beauty bakerie: Proof is in the puddin' palette
Hello! Happy December.
You know the routine, "wow I can't believe its December already?!". Time flies when having fun, right? Whatever it may be, I wish it would slow down just a tad. Having 3 kids grow up in a blink of an eye pretty much sucks.
How cute is this palette??? Love the packaging and colors when seeing this upon first impression. This was in my last FabFitFun box along with a bunch of goodies as I am sure you are aware of this subscription.
I am all about neutrals for that every day quick go to look so I was hoping to love this but it isn't amazing. However, it isn't horrible. Rice pudding and 'Nana pudding are my go to lately for setting my primer and creating a blank canvas for my look. Those 2 are fantastic. Bread pudding works great in the crease and as a transition. Warm cocoa was one that was a little disappointing for me, it took many layers to build up the color and seemed to easily disappear if I wanted to blend it or add more of the crease/transition colors. I do really like Butterscotch'd for adding light for the inner corner.
Overall though, I think it would be a great neutral palette for someone just getting into makeup and maybe a little scared of bold.
Eye look with this palette. Great everyday, low key look. This would be a great look for the office or like I said above, if your just starting to play with makeup and don't want anything bold.
This palette does make me want to try more from this brand even though this wasn't my favorite palette ever. I am a sucker for cute packaging and everything I have looked at, looks adorable. I would love any recommendations if you have tried more from this line.
